X axis LRA ( Linear Resonant Actuators ) in a rectangular shape, is mainly used due to the mechanical advantages, for some projects.

But, advantages of an x-axis LRA over a z-axis LRA go beyond just form factor. X-axis LRA’s deliver vibration feedback more directly to the palm of the hand.

So, It is more commonly used in mobile phone and other apps that use a display. Still, it provides faster response time and longer usage life when compared with ERM’s.

Rectangular LRA’s are capable of vibrating at a more steady frequency with less power drain.

ADR offers X axis LRA in different sizes. The smallest one is 6x12x2.8mm.

Minimum rated current is 47mA.

The maximus vibration force is 2.75G. Rated voltage is around 2VDC.
