16mm SLOTLESS BLDC MOTOR

Slotless brushless DC (BLDC) motors offer significant advantages over traditional slotted motors, primarily due to their unique design. By eliminating the slots in the stator, these motors minimize magnetic reluctance, leading to higher efficiency and reduced energy losses. This also results in less heat generation, extending the motor's lifespan and simplifying cooling requirements.
This particular slotless BLDC motor is versatile, accepting input voltages of 6, 9, 12, or 24 volts. It boasts a no-load speed of approximately 11,500 RPM and a stall torque of around 33 mNm. The speed/torque gradient is approximately 430 RPM/mNm, and the motor operates with an efficiency of around 75%. It can withstand a maximum static press fit force of 15N and operates within a standard ambient temperature range of -30°C to +100°C. Weighing in at approximately 32g, this motor is lightweight and compact. Two configurations are available: with and without a Hall sensor.
Key Advantages of this Motor Series:
· Enhanced Heat Dissipation: The aluminum alloy shell provides superior heat dissipation, resulting in a lower temperature rise during operation.
· Smooth Operation: The cup-shaped stator winding eliminates cogging torque and minimizes torque fluctuations, ensuring smooth and precise movement.
Typical Applications:
· Robotics
· Drones
· Medical Devices
Additional options from ADR-Technology:
Encoder Integration: An encoder can be added for precise position feedback and control.
Ball Bearing Preload: Ball bearing preload can be incorporated to minimize backlash and improve mechanical stiffness.
