Resistive & Capacitive are the most popular technologies, mainly because of their price.
Capacitive touch (CTP) front layer is made of glass. It gives better durability, resistance against scratches, better Appearance & UV Degradation Protection. The new PCAP technology enable to use the CTP with thick gloves. Resistive touch (RTP) is made of plastic front layer. The technology itself still gives better response to gloves & a price advantage.
