OPEN-FRAME + SBC MODULE
When a display with processing resources is required for a system, an Open-frame with SBC combination is a simple & cost effective solution.
During last years, this solution became popular and less expensive. The variations are almost unlimited.
SBC’s standard size is 3.5” and almost any processor can be added—Core, Atom, Pentium and others. Also RISC SBC’s are popular, based on ARM Cortex, MX6processors. Some of them support wide temperature range of –40/+85 degree Celsius.
The Open-frame display is usually connected via LVDS. Standard sizes are 5”, 7”, 10” & 15”. Adding Touch-screen, AR or AG coating to the display are quite standard. requests for many applications.
