AG vs AR SCREEN
What kind of scree should be chosen in order to eliminate light reflections from display? Anti-Glare or Anti-Reflection?
The answer is depend on the environment where your display located.
Note: AR is a coating, while AG is a glass surface treatment. Be aware that there are levels for the AG treatment, Each gives a different effect.
The AR transfer the light better.
The AG scattered the light better.
ADR recommend to use AR coating whenever your screen exposed to a “lighted environment”, specially outdoor, were the light comes from a long distance source. AG screen makes a “good job” where you have close light sources, specially indoor and high resolution is not “must”.
